Well it seems that President Nujoma hated any ouside influence on his reign. Not only did he ban foreign television programs, but he confiscated farms from foreigners who own them! He thinks that foreign films are a bad influence on young people. Then he fired his Prime Minister who was a competetitor for the presidency. All in all Nujoma was very corrupt and an intollerant man.
